Already taken

Today Kiera and I were reading princess books (as we frequently do) and she was inquiring about the white wedding dresses. After explaining what wedding dresses were and what it means to get married, she declared "Kiera marry daddy-- live happily ever after!" It is nice to see that you have good taste in males Kiera, but he is already taken.

Revolutionary products

Today as I put on my Shade shirt it thought to myself, "man, Shade shirts are revolutionary! I feel bad for people who have not discovered them yet." I also recently discovered E.L.F. Cosmetics online. For us poor living-off-loans people, $1 each for cosmetics is pretty good (although I'm not that big a fan of their eyeshadows). Then I get to wondering what products are out there that are "Revolutionary" that I have not discovered. So, I ask you fellow bloggers: What products are you enjoying that I have not yet discovered? Give me your wisdom.

Notice anything different about us?

Lydia got her ears pierced today.

Kiera got a new hair cut (about a week ago).

When I was a child my nickname was "Cambrie cowlick". Poor Kiera inherited the gene. Notice the swirls? This is going to be battle: Mommy vs. Cowlicks

We've joined the Disneyland club

Most of our friends here in So Cal have had season passes to Disneyland for a long time. We finally gave in to peer pressure and acquired season passes too. Day 1 of season passes went well all except the fact that Kiera was so overwhelmed by it all that she refused to drink anything and then ended up vomiting several times on the way home (probably from heat exhaustion). But despite the troubles, we had fun and are excited to do it again (after at least a week of recovery!).

6 months old

Lydia is 6 months old now. She is a little chunky monkey. If you can't tell from the pictures, her height is 10th percentile, but her weight is right on target. I get to haul that little butterball around on my hip!
