Thus it Ends

We wouldn't normally blog this but we're at a point emotionally that we'd rather blog it now so we don't have to tell people individually over and over again.

Loma Linda Medical Center has a policy to terminate a pregnancy only when the mother's life is threatened. We had to follow through with that policy due to Cambrie's physical condition, which was getting worse and worse by the hour. We're probably more pro-life than most people but we feel in these circumstances the decision had to be made.

Just like post labor and delivery for our two kids, Cambrie is recovering quickly and will be OK. I think now we'll be looking into others options if we were to have any more kids by means of surrogacy or adoption.

Thank you to everyone that has expressed or given their support. It's extremely comforting to experience the overwhelming love friends and family have poured into our family and for that we're so grateful for you!

I am so sorry. I know you didn't make this decision lightly, and I know that things must have been pretty bad... From what I heard before now, they were very bad.

We're here for you.

Cambrie and Steve, that's a hard decision to have to make. I can't imagine because I have never had to make it. My heart aches for you both. Life moves on though. You've got two of the sweetest, most precious girls on this earth so enjoy and cherish them. I love you guys.

The way I see it, there was no decision to be made. It had to be this way otherwise Cambrie wouldn't be here with us! I admire your strength Steve and Cambrie and I mourn with you in your loss. Wish I could be closer!! Love you both!!

I know that Heavenly Father is watching over your family. He hears our prayers and answers them. Keep your hearts close to him and he will carry you through this hard time.

Our prayers are with you all at this time. I will put your family on the Boise Idaho temple prayer roll.

That is so much to deal with you guys. My heart breaks for you right now. But I am so glad that Cambrie is ok and I agree with Debbie who said that there was no decision to be made...still, I grieve for you having to make that choice and I hope you will find the peace you need to get through this very difficult process.

I've been thinking about you and have been really worried about you particularly for the past week or so.

While I'm of course very sorry for your loss, I must admit that I'm very relieved that you are now doing better with your health. It's bad enough not being able to do anything to help you as you're extremely sick for your pregnancies, but you scared me when I heard what mom said about how you were doing. I'm glad to have you around, even if you're not exactly "around" here. Lets try to avoid putting that in jeopardy.

Love ya Cambrie.

Oh Cambrie. I can't even imagine what you're going through. I know the strength of your soul, though, and I know that you will make it through this hard time. What a blessing your two angels are.
